When the Scituate Lighthouse needed a makeover, the top was popped off to prepare the tower for a new top. Please note the guy hanging from the crane wires – we named him “Dangling Dan”.
Loved the video you shared with the beginning of a restoration project including Dangling Dan. We have someone down here in W TN who dangles like that cutting trees!! We will be back for another visit. This is where we tied the knot 9/23/1979!!!! Love your blog.
